Catching Up with Old Friends
The pre-sweeps downtime continues. The only "new" thing on last night for me was How I Met Your Mother. A solid, but not classic episode. The highlight of my tv-viewing, however, was the pilot episode of The O.C. Soapnet is now re-showing the adventures of the Cohens and the kid from Chino from the beginning. Yay! Ah, how they've all changed. Summer was a raging bitch, Kiki was still hitting the bottle, Ryan looked freakishly young, and (most shocking of all) Marissa still had some meat on her bones! But Sandy's eyebrow's were just the same--good to know some things never change.
Tonight, I'm pretty sure the only thing on is American Idol. April sucks. Anybody got any other suggestions?

I think the only thing I was going to watch last night (besides catch-up) was 24. Which I didn't, b/c Carmax are fuck-heads & I didn't get home until 10:30. Oh well.
Tonight is Pussycat Dolls!! And it's on after American Idol, so you really have no excuse to miss it. My feeling right now is that Anastacia is on top, in spite of all the talk about how fat she's gotten - which a) bullshit & b) she's a goddess. Simply gorgeous. But what do I know. I'm not a PCD.
The whole vibrator thing was pretty funny eventhough its been done about a billion times. They did a good job of coming up with original and disgusting double entendres.
24 is virtually unwatchable now. it's like they fired their writing staff of the last few years and hired rejects from Days of our Lives.
The Riches was entertaining albeit a bit painful to watch. The majority of that show is like that scene in Swingers where Mikey is quickly ruining his life by repeatedly calling that girl he met in the bar... i forget what is on tonight.. i think there is somethign
I told you what's on tonight! Pussycat Dolls!!
Sorry LT, I'm boycotting Pussycat Dolls b/c I'm a Veronica Mars loyalist.
M, I beg to differ. Last week's 24 was awful, terrible, no good very bad blecch. Last night's was awesome. A return to form. Jack Bauer kicked some major ass. All it takes is one episode like that to restore my faith. Heck, even the President restored my faith last night. Way to go 24.
We also watched that new improv show on NBC "Thank God You're Here". It has some funny movements but it seems very off. I'm not sure if I'll watch again.
Veronica Mars is still in reruns I think. I'll be watching PCD tonight.
I have the last two episodes of The Riches taped, and I still haven't watched the season premiere of The Shield.
And sorry I missed yesterday, but M I am on board with your whole list except Rescue Me, which I have never seen. I will rent season 1.
Did anyone watch Sopranos and Entourage Sunday?
No HBO for moi, so Sopranos & Entourage will be next summer . . . from Netflix . . . .
Ooh, I'm excited to watch last night's 24 now!! It's been such a chore lately.
