Just When I Think I'm Out . . .
After Jo, the media, the big ol' dorks I work with, and some others convinced me, I began watching Battlestar Galactica. I was in the habit of taping it--first because it was on Friday nights, and then because it was just too exciting for the last thing at night before going to bed on a Sunday night. So I'd eagerly anticipate watching on either Saturday morning (like cartoons for grown-ups!) or Monday evening (the perfect lead-in to Heroes!). Then something happened the last few weeks--it got dull. So very, very dull. I stopped watching the recording on Monday, instead letting it sit around the DVR until I got to it. I was ready to throw in the towel, but thought I'd watch the season finale because I wasn't tired and there was no new Brothers and Sisters. Holy frakkin' finale! [don't read this if you record like I usually do] They revealed 4 of the final 5 Cylons! They're people we know and love! (and Tori). Starbuck's . . . alive?!? [okay, all done] Now I'm gonna have to watch when it returns in 2008.
I also watched Bring It On All Or Nothing on ABC Family. It was not the cheesy good time I expect of ABC Family (although I don't think it was an ABC Family original, so it wasn't their fault). The cheerleader from Heroes played a cheerleader. The actress used to be Lizzy Spaulding on Guiding Light. The current Lizzy Spaulding played her cheerleading rival, which gave me at least 30 seconds of amusment.
What did everyone else watch this weekend?

Yeah, I don't watch Battlestar Galactica, although I loved the original when I was 10. Oh Starbuck! So dreamy!
I watched FNL last night finallY (kept forgetting). Aw, I love Kyle Chandler! And Matt Saracen! So cute! And man, Lyla is getting annoying. I guess 'getting' is overstating it, though.
I also watched the Amazing Race, which was amazing, as usual. Except dammit, I can't stand Charla & Mirna. It's really Mirna I can't stand, but I think she's been rubbing off on Charla. Ugh!
Tonight: 24! Will we find out if Logan lived or died?? Eh, probably not.
I knew I could count on GG! I watched Bring it On, too! On Saturday, I also watched The Cutting Edge 2, which was also a poor imitation of the original. However, I'm deeply upset that I forgot about Planet Earth being on Discovery, and so I've now missed parts 1-3, which included the Mountains, and the Deep Ocean. I have to try to catch those!
Tonight, I am very tired. So tired that I'm contemplating going home early to nap. If I don't go home early, I'm going to bed early so I'm not sure what, if anything, I'll watch tonight.
BSG was AWESOME last night. If I hadn't been working since the crack of dawn I was going to title today's post "There must be some kind of way out of here..."
I cannot wait for next season, and GG did you hear they are making a two hour "movie" that will air on scifi this fall and serve as the tie in to next season?
The L Word season finale was on last night too. Pretty good. Poor Tina is Bette sick. Bette is Marlee sick. Shane is setting herself up for another big fall. Alice's new love is on her way to Iraq (she actually looked attractive to me last night). Jackie Brown is clean, sober and boring again. Helena is about to make a very ill advised wager (that I would take in a second if i was her). And Jenny is floating on a raft somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Did I forget anything?
