Hello? Anybody?

I'm a little concerned about the health of our lunch-loving community, but I'm going to push on. Has anyone else checked out Drive? It feels very much like a summer show, and I predict a quick, pre-finish line death, but, so far, I am along for the ride. Of course, I'd watch Nathan Fillion read the phonebook.
So, what's on tap for tonight? Those wacky Gilmore Girls are finally back. And, of course, there's the mystery of Sanjaya's next hair-do.

I am here!

Tonight is . . . um. Oh! Pussycat Dolls. I meant to start watching Drive, but I didn't realize it started on Sunday. And now I feel like I've missed too much. And I hate getting committed to a show that gets cancelled. Argh. Not like our PCDs! I think there's only 4 left now, so there's probably only 2 or 3 shows left. There is also Sanjaya Idol. He got booed at a Dodgers game. I feel bad for the guy! Not bad enough to vote for him, though.

I am here too! I caught most of Drive last night...I found it entertaining, but not sure they'll keep me when people start robbing banks and doing all the craziness seen in the previews for next week. I think I would have liked it better as a movie.

Last night I also watched 24 which I thought was a little more entertaining than it has been recently...I mean, Jack got subdued by other CTU agents...that's just crazy! I'm still pretty much ready for the season to be done, though.

Oh and I've been meaning to say (and I apologize if I missed a day when it was already discussed), but what does everyone think of Jon Stewart's new studio look? I don't think I'm a fan. To me it feels like it looks aaaaalmost like a normal nightly news set, but not quite, so it ends up more cheesy than the previous set. Any other opinions on that?

Whew! So glad someone's still here! I don't watch the Dolls, I just can't do it. I never thought I'd say this about a TV show, but it's just too trashy for me. Not that I judge anyone who watches it in the least. Lord knows I watch some crap. Case it point--American Idol. Now that GG's back, I'll be watching Idol as god intended--recorded so I can fastforward through all the filler.

caught most of drive and it looks mildly entertaining although i can see it degrading quickly into a CW level series..

24 was better again although jack really is seeming to be just an ancillary character. the riches is still funny enough to keep my attention although i have very little hope for season two. Either they will be caught by then or they will have gone through every possible interesting conflict... either way, season II is dead in the water.

tonight is The Shield! w00t! catch an episode just for the purpose of inspiring you to watch the old season.

and the daily shows set makes me kinda angry.. well not the whole thing.. but the little fake people running around in the background make me unhappy. also, i think they should go back to an interview couch rather than an interview chair.. its only a matter of time until some old person falls out of it and dies or rolls down the steps.

I don't like the new set. I miss the purple couch. And the way it's set up, it kind of seems like having guests is an afterthought. I mean, they just set them up there at the end of the table like that? It's not like they even give them a decent sized area to sit up at. It's weird.
