Oh, Betty!

Now I love Ugly Betty (the show & the character), but something in last night's episode really bugged me. And it is linked to our mother site, www.theoriginalwhatsforlunch.com. Why would she take a random yoghurt out of the office fridge if she knew she didn't put it in there? The only possible explanation is that the office provides yoghurt, but she took a personal one instead of a company one. I don't buy that, though, b/c she also took a piece of pie out of the fridge! Now I love Betty, but that a) seemed totally out of character for her (she's so moral!) & b) ARGH!! If it's not yours, don't take it!

And on Grey's Anatomy, I was going along with the whole Addison spin-off thing, just fine. But 2 things drove me up the wall: 1. Taye Diggs like weird chin-hair. WTF was that? He is so hot, and then he goes & grows some little chia-pet thing on his chin. Me no likey! Shave it, Taye! You're too hot for that kind of shit! That thing is worse than the soul patch! 2. "I'm going to kiss you. I'm going to kiss you with tongue." EEEEEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! I could never take a guy seriously who didn't stop at the first sentence. "I'm going to kiss you with tongue"??? That puts me in mind of a time a guy said something to me that was just such a turnoff & grody, I couldn't believe I hooked up with him. Shudder.
