Jealous Men and Recorded TV

So last night was mostly devoted to watching recorded TV from Monday (and drinking delicious sangria at a yummy spanish restaurant), but I did happen to catch Gilmore Girls. I had seen the previews for this episode last week, but I was really quite shocked at Christopher's crazy jealousy. I can understand that he wouldn't be thrilled with reading the letter (or the fact that Lorelai hid it from him), but didn't his reaction seem a little extreme?? Maybe it's because he's a guy and they don't usually have that kind of reaction on tv?? Or maybe it wasn't extreme and I'm just a mean, insensitive person??

Anyway, let's hear what you think if you caught this, how any recorded tv was if you were playing catch up or how any other new shows were!

Mau, not being a gilmore girls watcher I have little to offer you, except that the phrase "Fuck me Santa, fuck me Santa!" goes through my head everytyime the show isbrought up.

I am a tad under the weather today so I will be catching up on all of my recordewd shows and I will try to watch the last few episodes of Dirt.

Any Soap opera watchers out there?

jo, not a big soap opera watcher...used to watch general hostpital back when i was in high school, but nothing since then. i'm sorry to hear you're not feeling great, but i'm very jealous that you'll be able to catch up on some good recorded tv. m is home not feeling well also and i'm very scared that he'll watch all of our saved tv.

i konw someone mentioned it earlier on the blog but this season of gilmore is pretty fucking lame. the witty banter is kept to a minimum and everyone's feeling are getting hurt. i have so little desire to watch the rest of this season..

on the upside.. i watched heros last night and once again my socks were quite rocked. i cannot wait for lost to come home.

i'm goign to try avoid watching tv today so i can convince myself that working from home is just as efficient as going into the office (so i don't feel guilty when i start doing it 2x a week)

I don't Gilmore Girls, so sure, I'll be shocked & appalled. Or not. I don't know.

Last night I watched old episodes of 30 Rock & the Office that I had missed. They were reruns from the fall & they were great. Ha ha! Oh, how I love Jim Halpert.

Then I watched American Idol, which was hysterical. What was with that yellow lady?? Was she really 50? I'm so confused about her. And I sort of wanted to punch her in the face when she was being all fake-perky.

My biggest question last night is: Why is Aimee such a fucking bitch (Bad Girls Club for those of you who don't know)?? Seriously, wtf is her problem? She's that bully who can dish out shit, but can't take it. I fucking hate her & hope she gets run over by a truck. Or sued by the girls for all the shit she ruined. It would serve her right if they came home & shredded her shit with those scissors she was trying to be all scary with. Hypocrite.

Jo, you must have some opinion on Aimee. Oooooh, the previews for next week look awesome. I do hope that Ty kicks her ass.

Last night I watched GG, Veronica Mars (they were mean last week teasing that LoVe broke up AGAIN) and Dirt. I think maybe I DVR'd Bad Girls, but if I didn't it'll only be on 100 or so times this weekend.

Tonight I don't know. I'm going to the gym, so maybe I'll catch Friday Night Lights there, then home to watch the Top Chef finale if I don't fall asleep. I actually don't care if I watch the show, I just want to know who wins. A post show text from Jo letting me know the outcome would be just as rewarding.

Oh, I thought Christopher's reaction was fine. I would be pissed if I thought that she was choosing stupid Luke if I were him too. I HATE Luke and I can't believe that after all of this, she's going to end up with that flannel-wearing bohunk. Seriously, he could be in those Geico cave man ads. Horrible.

HA HA HA HA!!!!!! I don't watch Gilmore Girls, but that description is priceless! Geico caveman! Hee!

Tonight: having sushi with Bonbon. Then I will go home & watch Friday Night Lights. Is American Idol on again tonight? Hm. I hope I'm taping it. If I am, then I will try to watch that as well. I still haven't decided if I'm watching Knights of Prosperity. I have most of the episodes taped, I just haven't gotten around to watching any of them. Anyone? Hints, advice, sympathy?

I too have Knights of Prosperity taped. I just haven't gotten around to it. I really like Donal Logue though, so I will probably like it if I ever get around to watching it.

Top Chef watchers: don't read this link. It has a possible spoiler. Come back tomorrow & read it. Or read it now if you don't care if you find who (might have) won early.
