sooo happy. the episode was pretty good and not as soap operay as i was afraid. I am also rather happy that they resolved the henry gale surgery and didn't try and extend it into another episode.

plus...... they are finally doing the backstories for the others which i have been praying for ever since they started revisiting stories of the O815 survivors.

Lots and lots of issues to discuss about Lost, but I have to say, one of the highlights from last night was seeing "Mac" from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" play the guard who falls for the Chewbacca ruse.

Overall, I thought last night's Lost was a strong episode. While you may be on the look-out for Philadelphians, Jo, I was particularly pleased to see Calamity Jane off the booze and happily knocked-up (though sadly cancer-stricken). Overall, though, this season I seem to have lost some of my Lost enthusiasm. I'm still watching and enjoying, but I no longer feel the need to obsess over every little detail in the mystery. Like HT said yesterday, I got a little burned by Alias, and I'm already seeing signs of Late-Stage-JJ-Show Syndrome. So I'm cautious about expending more than an hour a week on Lost.
My new Wednesday night obsession, Friday Night Lights, did not disappoint. But I don't think there are a lot of fellow-FNLers here, so I'll just say that, in addition to their usual dramatic storyline, I really really enjoyed the humorous girls-powderpuff-football storyline. Kudos to any highschool-set show that can portray something that actually happened in my highschool just the way I remembered it.
Does anyone here watch Bones? While it's not profound, I always enjoy it--it's much lighter than other procedurals. Plus, Angel, I mean, Agent Booth, is hot. Never hurts.
Tonight, big night for the DVR: Ugly Betty, the Office, Scrubs, The OC, and Ace of Cakes. Don't know which, if any of those, I'll watch live, though.

gg, I dvr FNL but I am at least 6 episodes behind. Lost got my juices flowing again last night. I'm excited for this non-stop second half of the season.

I've never seen Bones.

Is anyone watching Bravo's newest show about Top Design. I didn't think I'd watch but I have coaught the first two episodes with the missus.
Eh.

FNL is one of my favorite shows, and I love that Matt guy..."I can't believe I picked Julie third...now she'll really hate me"...hahaha love it! I missed last season of Lost so I am pretty much...lost...(oy - bad). But from someone jumping back in it was a really good episode.

I've watched Bones before (mainly because I was a huge Angel fan), I actually don't mind the show and think that it is pretty good.

I also watched Dawson's Criminal Minds, it was pretty good. And the city try-out shows for American Idol are officially over.

Tonight is the Office, Grey's and ER...YAY!!!

I should so be doing work right now, but, Lady A, gotta agree w/ you on the Matt Saracen love. But he only improves when you add Landry. The whole pheromone discussion killed me: "There isn't a smell in the world that will make Julie like me again." I want my own Landry to sit in my cubicle and give me wildly inappropriate (but funny!) advice all day.
