Jesus' Tomb?
I haven't watched it yet, but we taped The Discovery channel special about the supposed Jesus Family Tomb last night. Did anyone see it.
The weekend was fairly quiet for tv watching.
Last night we watched Iron Chef America which for the first time included mixologists in the fun, Mario Batali & his drinkmeister kicked the other team's ass.
We also watched some of The Apprentice which continues to underwhelm.
After the missus went to bed I watched The L Word which strangely only has 3 episodes left this season.
I ended the night watching the first hour of The Comedians of Comedy, which I have seen several times but always cracks me up, (a highlight is when Zach Galifianakis does his impression of "the guy who talks too much about the Garfield movie").
On Heroes tonight we get to meet Mr. Linderman which should be awesome.
And we get to see if President little brother Palmer got blown up on 24.
What will you be watching?

I finally caught up on all of last week's tv over the weekend. I enjoyed Lost, and Veronica Mars solved the case of the dead dean. GG was cute and Prison Break is getting good.
Speaking of, tonight is PB and Heroes and the Hills and Black Donnelly's which I still haven't seen, but want to. Good thing I don't plan on going out until the OWFL conference.
Oooh, I know what I'm doing - I didn't watch 24 last week & I forgot to watch it over the weekend! I will catch that tonight during dinner & then watch the new one. Woo hoo! Double dose of Keifer! Although I hate to admit it, but I'm getting a little bored. Every season, the same damn thing. To quote Ben Stiller playing Bruce Willis in his tv series in a spoof called "Die Hard 23": "How can the same thing happen to the same guy so many times??"
I just heard an awful rumour this morning. They are creating a sitcom based on the Geico cavemen called 'Cavemen'. I can't even imagine what this will be like, except a SNL sketch that runs about 25 minutes too long . . . like the Coneheads. Oooh, or Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer! God, Phil Hartman was good. I would watch UCL for 1/2 hour. The Geico cavement? Not so much. Although if it does make it on the air, I will certainly tune in for the pilot b/c it is nearly guaranteed to be a train-wreck.
I heard that about the Geico cavemen, too. Wow, that is going to suck in ways we haven't seen since That 80's Show. Awful.
I also need to watch the L Word. I missed it last night. I do love those wacky lesbians.
Didn't catch too much tv this weekend except for some recorded episodes of CSI while in my post Hoboken St. Patrick's Day battle to not throw up. I'm proud to report that I never got sick even though the party I was at had its first person to do so at 11:15am. Other than all of that it was a good time.
I did hear about the tomb special on the Discovery channel...I didn't see any of it, but am intersted to hear how it is.
What I haven't heard about is the sitcom about the Geico caveman...you have to wonder if the people who come up with this stuff ever mention it to their friends or family...wouldn't someone mention the possibility of that becoming the worst show on tv?? I suppose if I could make millions of dollars on an awful idea, though, I might just ignore any criticism...
bah.. sundays are fallind down down downhill. the Simpsons hasn't overly amused me in a long while and some genius had the idea to bring rob cordry's new tv show into the mix. because of pvr overlaps i the first three mintues of it and the last two. That was quite enough pig.
Family guy continues to impress although dancing prom-dumpster-babies was slightly disturbing. I'll be away from TV tonight but that means i get to save it up for when there is absolutely nothing on.
yay me.
I did enjoy the line on Simpsons that acknowledged that the success of The Simpsons is inadvertantly responsible for the creation of the Fox News Network.
The Lord works in mysterious ways...
Did Rob Corddry's show start? Huh, they had so many commercials & then none. Too bad, I always liked him on the Daily Show.
I meant to tape that Jesus tomb thing, b/c I'm all for Jesus being proven to have had kids & been married & shit. B/c that kind of fucks up the whole Catholic Church's idea of Him. Hm, maybe it'll be on in rerun. What's it called so I can search for it?
I'm also going to try to tape a show tonight on Nat'l Geographic about North Korea & how much they suck. USA! USA!! It sounded pretty good in the description in the Express today.
LT, that's the Lisa Ling thing. I miss Lisa. She's so much less annoying than Elizabeth.
Ha! Elizabeth bugged, even back when I was still watching Survivor. Didn't they first replace her with really stupid greek chick? Debbie Papanaloukalasis or something?
What is Lisa Ling? Is she Korean? I never watched the View, so I don't know.
I tried to watch that Rob Corrrrrrdry show.
I failed after 4 minutes.
I shan't try again.
I first knew of Lisa Ling when she was a host on Channel One, which was piped into my homeroom in high school. She's Chinese.
She replaced Debbie Matanopolous, then Elizabeth replaced Lisa. The other old hags are all really mean to the token, cute young girl, so I think they don't stay around long.
God, I hate those bitches.
Aw, crap, I just got an invite to sushi/Zodiac tonight, but up in Bethesda. Crap, what to do. I may have to catch up on 24 tomorrow night . . . .
All I know about the View was that years ago SNL had some semi-funny skits (remember when that used to happen??) about Debbie Matanopolous and how the rest of the women basically ignored her. I believe there was one specific one where Barbara Walters was forcing Debbie into a cage because she wouldn't stop saying stupid things. If only we could do that in real life...
And LT, I belive the Discovery Channel thing is called "The Lost Tomb of Jesus"...sure to be replayed often between countless episodes of MythBusters, Dirty Jobs and Future Weapons.
That's what you think, Mau. Wait until you get to Pittsburgh and see the deluxe cage we've got set up there.
The View spoofs on SNL that I remember had Tracy Morgan playing Star Jones & saying every two seconds "I feel, as a lawyer blah blah blah" It was pretty funny.
Haha I forgot about the Star Jones impersonation...that was pretty funny.
And ooooh yay for a cage, HT! After the conference can I borrow it to bring to work for awhile?
