Strong start, backing off from there

TV lunch began quite ambitiously, but has slowed from there. I know that Ihaven't seen much TV lately, and I am certain that I haven't visited in a week or two. I know however that this comunity does shape my viewing and I will continue to support it evermore.

So what have I missed? What's new this week? What are you high on and what blows? (that is to say wha do you like lately and what is no good, not a question about your chemical dependency)

The missus and I watched the fellas on Idol, then we switched over to the PussyCat Dolls show and it was suprisingly entertaining.
We then caught Bad Girls Club.

Idol Girls and Lost are on tonight...

For those of you that watch The Unit I must reccomend that you rent the movie "Spartan" starring Val Kilmer.

The show and movie are both David Mamet productions and are based on the same source material, basically the lives of the men in special ops/delta force.

If you like the show you will love the movie.

I love Val Kilmer. At least, Val Kilmer circa 1984. I'll even throw in Val Kilmer circa 1995. Not so much Val Kilmer circa 2006 when he was macking on Paris Hilton. I will check out that movie. I've been meaning to netflix the Saint as well. I started watching that a few years but had to leave in the middle for some reason.

I listened to Idol, but wasn't really watching, then watched PCD (which sounds like either a drug or a social disease & my god that red-hair PCD (not the wanna-be girl) has got to be a man) & wow, that was good stuff. I think they had the same virus I had!

Bad Girls Club was good stuff. They have all turned on Jodie now. Who will be next?!? Mwa ha ha ha! Zara is still a moron & I don't know why she's there. Aimee is still a big poser with a big mouth. Her mother must be so proud.

LT: on Bad Girls it looks like Leslie is leaving next week and I have it on good authority that two new girls will move into the house soon...

I thought I would hate PCD, but once again the powers that be at The CW network have proved me wrong...and that's before we even get to Lil' Kim!

i mostly watched monday leftovers including heros, 24 and prison break. i really like heros and and really apathetic about 24 and really dislike prison break.

last night was a rollercoaster of emotions...

i did catch house (his most crazy difficult medical mystery EVER) and spent the hour praying that he would somehow actually kill dave matthews. and i think the father was Red from That 70s Show.

caught another disapointing gilmore girls and was unsurprisingly disappointed. i don't konw why i even try and watch it anymore.

from the commercials i have seen, the girls on PCDs look like fourteen year olds with poor booob jobs.. but i am sure they are very talented... and when you watch it, can you narrow it down to a single BJ Queen?

m, the pcd girls are suprisingly more talented than the idol bj queen. the good part is they have to dance all sluttily so even mediocre singing is acceptable. Another shocker for me was the fact that the judges actually kept the most talented girls instead of just the ones with potential for drama. I really can't say anything bad about the show (suprise again), and it has the hot lead pussy cat doll singer.

Oh yeah there is one bad thing, the PCD founder is very, very hard to look at. But so far that's the worse piece. (and of course the vomiting).

The PCD founder is easier to look at than the drag-queen redhead already in the group! Girlfriend is serious mannish! I think I actually had a dream about the show & they were like "This competition is open to girls and drag queens" & I was like "Well, see, now that makes sense!"

Favorite line of the night on PCD: "Since my parents were killed when I was so young I have trouble singing in front of people." Huh? Girl, just b/c you have a tragic backstory doesn't mean you can whip it out for any reason. "Since my parents were killed when I was so young, I've never been able to stomach liverwurst." "Since my parents were killed when I was so young, I've got a major thing for Dane Cook." Oh, PCD is going to be a great show. I think the 'punk' red-head girl will either a) not be around for long or b) get extensions in a makeover episode. B/c she does not have enough hair. On the other hand, that other chick has way too much hair. She looked like Dee Snyder in the "We're Not Gonna Take It" video.

I agree on all counts LT.
Except with your liberal usage of "girlfriend" and "Girl".

I laughed for a long time at the orphan girl.
